The artist Samar Al-Mulla, what she uses most in the formation of her paintings is the oil colors that, using them, find a situation related to the interactions within themselves with nature and society to lead to the calm that they seek and seek through the results they reach.

In an interview with Lisa, the artist Al-Mulla said, “Art is not a simple matter. It is a complex structural structure that needs cultural legacies, acquaintances, knowledge and long experiences that make the artist able to portray the reflections he lives in forms that must influence the present and it is supposed to cross history to the future to define the artistic civilization in which artists live. It is not an image but rather a language of an entire community that colors perform in an artistic way that no one else can perform.

Al-Mulla continued, “Art is a talent and not an acquisition. I and my family discovered my talent since I was a child because I spontaneously painted what was going on at that time in terms of social and humanitarian situations and what society does in terms of rituals in addition to the wars and repercussions that a person experiences according to what he interacts with with his environments.

As for what is acquired, it is those cultures that the artist searches for and makes them accumulate in his imagination, adding to his knowledge things that contribute to the development of his painting.

And the artist Al-Mulla indicated that the painting comes with impulsion from a situation in which the artist lives and by instinct and necessity he possesses the ability to perform what is going on in himself and this is found among most artists, especially those who can keep up with reality and express it in colors that do not differ from what is present, but the method of performance carries influential goals that seek For the best and for the most beautiful.

"I used charcoal and painted black on white, and I dealt with all colors except for watercolors, because what is going on in myself is the master of the situation and he is the one who chooses how to deal with colors, so oil colors are the best," the artist said.

The artist Al-Mulla believed that it is wrong for an artist to present painting unless he is able to transform these inanimate objects into a life that expresses a new hope for those who see this painting, and that the exhibitions that are held that present paintings that a person cannot deal with under the pretext of the symbol or anything else are failed paintings Because art is a value, and this value seeks to accumulate beauty and love in the human soul.

It is noteworthy that the artist, Samar Al-Mulla, prefers oil colors, prefers to paint calm nature and has done many exhibitions.
