The closure of the Kreissparkassen branch in Krailling hits many citizens hard.
The Seniors' Advisory Board demands that at least one ATM be installed.
After the closure of the Kreissparkassen branch in Krailling, the local senior citizens' advisory board is demanding at least the installation of an ATM.
The Kraillinger Sparkasse customers, especially the elderly, are dependent on such a service, writes the chairwoman Karin Wolf in a letter to Andreas Frühschütz, chairman of the board of the Kreissparkasse Munich Starnberg Ebersberg.
A quarter of the almost 8,000 inhabitants of Krailling is older than 65 years, ten percent even over 80 years
Are customers leaving?
Please do not underestimate your business potential with these often wealthy Kraillinger customers, ”writes Wolf in her letter.
Should the bank consider an ATM location superfluous, disgruntled customers might migrate to the VR Bank Starnberg-Herrsching-Landsberg branch located in the middle of Krailling, predicts the chairwoman of the senior citizens' advisory council, especially with regard to older Sparkasse customers.
"Technology-savvy customers could, for example, switch directly to INGDiBa or Comdirekt", Karin Wolf continues.
ATM locations suggested
According to Wolf, Krailling's mayor Rudolph Haux also considers the installation of an ATM to be necessary.
The easiest way is to set it up in an adjoining room in the Kreissparkasse property on Luitpoldstrasse.
However, other locations in the center of Krailling are also suitable, for example in the course of planned construction work opposite the previous branch or on the corner of Margaretenstrasse and Luitpoldstrasse.
Demonstrate closeness to customers
At the end of her letter, Wolf appeals to the CEO not to sideline Krailling: “Dear Mr. Frühschütz, so that customer orientation and customer proximity are not just empty words for you, we urgently ask you to quickly find a permanent ATM location in the center of Kraillingen to set up. "
