The members of the national board of Together for Change rejected the government's
"excessive and poorly calibrated restrictions" in the
face of the second wave of coronavirus, and it was the Chief of Staff, Santiago Cafiero, who came out to cross them, warning them that they should generate "Proposals, not Chicanas."
"We find it particularly worrying that in the face of the failure of the national government's health strategy, the repeated response is to
insist on excessive and poorly calibrated restrictions
," said that sector of the opposition through a statement.
We work to take care of Argentine men and women, and in daily coordination we dialogue with several of the leaders that make up that table.
Generate proposals, not Chicanas.
Let's be responsible in prevention, and also when making statements.

The statement came after the face-to-face meeting in which Mauricio Macri, Patricia Bullrich, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, María Eugenia Vidal and Miguel Ángel Pichetto, among others, were present.
"We are convinced that
we must defend the greatest possible normality,
which implies guaranteeing the right to education, work and the exercise of fundamental freedoms," they insisted.
The reaction of the Casa Rosada
The national government came out to reject the expressions of the opposition leaders.
He did so through the Chief of Staff, who promptly spoke out against a message that Patricia Bullrich spread.
"We work to take care of Argentines and Argentines, and in daily coordination we dialogue with several of the leaders that make up that table. Generate proposals, not Chicanas," Cafiero replied on his Twitter account.
Followed, the national official asked: "Let us be responsible in prevention, and also when making statements."
From the Table of @juntoschangear we consider that leaving citizens without education, without work and without freedom does not solve the failure of the vaccination plan.
We already tested the eternal quarantine.
It is inappropriate to discuss electoral issues.
Let's think about the people.

Cafiero reacted to a message spread by the PRO head, also on Twitter.
"From the Table of @juntoschangear we consider that leaving citizens without education, without work and without freedom does not solve the failure of the vaccination plan. We have already tried the eternal quarantine. It is inappropriate to discuss electoral issues. Let us think about the people", Bullrich said.
JxC rejected changes in the electoral calendar
After the meeting in which Gerardo Morales, Alfredo Cornejo, Maxi Ferraro, Mario Negri, Juan Manuel López, Cristian Ritondo, Maricel Etchecoin, Martín Lousteau, Humberto Schiavoni and Luis Naidenoff were also present, they also ratified that they will not accompany attempts to modify the electoral calendar by the second wave of the coronavirus.
"Given the situation we are going through, it seems inappropriate to be discussing electoral issues," they considered.
They said that the priorities should be to work on the "health situation, the lack of vaccines on the necessary scale, inflation, the increase in poverty, insecurity and the daily problems that Argentines suffer from the lack of employment, the closure business and the decline in economic activity. "
"We are against changing the rules of the game.
Electoral rules are sacred in a democracy.
Until today we have not received any concrete proposal from the national executive power. And if there is one, it must mean a structural improvement and not only for this election ", they remarked.
Finally, they indicated that Together for Change "is committed to working together with all citizens who are currently in a vulnerable situation, in their education, their jobs, their lives, their mental health and their well-being."
