Avraham Zakin, a battle-wounded man who was severely wounded in the First Lebanon War, died shortly before Memorial Day.
Now, his family is calling for public help, because in his memorial service that will take place on April 7 in the Gordon Cemetery in Rishon Lezion, there is currently no quorum.
His son is the only one now among the ten worshipers required for public prayer.
"We do not have a quorum for Dad's memorial service," his family wrote.
"Please share with all your might, so that we can truly do the mitzvah of honoring the dead war hero!".
Later in the message they wrote: "Tomorrow there will be a memorial service for a physically and mentally wounded man who died at a young age - and the family has not even counted. Please share, and come in droves to show that we all embrace the fallen!"
The memorial service will be held on April 7 at Gordon Cemetery in Rishon Lezion, at 5:30 p.m.
