An organization seeking a permanent solution for those who have been protected by the Temporary Protection Program (TPS) for decades has begun a hunger strike in Washington, in a park between the White House and the Capitol.
TPS was a target of the Trump administration, who ordered its removal, which has protected immigrants for decades.
As that decision passes its process in the courts, all hopes are on the Biden administration and the Democrats in Congress.
