Every year, on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, the "Parade for Life" is held in Habima Square in Tel Aviv - a parade of support and identification with Holocaust survivors, organized by the Aviv Association for Holocaust Survivors.

Due to the Corona crisis, the platform last year became a "virtual rally" without an audience and this year, due to existing restrictions, the traditional parade will not take place, but thanks to the green label, the rally will feature Holocaust survivors in sheltered housing up to 120 in Tel Aviv. Today, so that the general public can express support and sympathy with Holocaust survivors, our heroes who survived the worst of all and went through with admirable heroism even the difficult and complex year we went through.

The rally, which will be moderated by actor Uri Gottlieb every year, will be attended by singer Ivri Lider, who will perform his songs "Someone Once" and "I Got to Love."

Speakers: the journalist and TV personality Roni Koben and the director of the Aviv Association for Holocaust Survivors, Ms. Orly Sivan.

During the rally, three videos will be shown featuring three wonderful Holocaust survivors - Yehudit Yerushalmi Tris, Iris Maimon and Tzarna Fox, who tell their family members about their personal victory.

Orly Sivan, CEO of the association: “The past year has been a difficult and challenging year for Holocaust survivors who have been forced into closure and social distance.

Now again it is possible to embrace and wrap Holocaust survivors in love and provide them with a supportive shoulder on this difficult day, we call on the whole public to take care of the well-being of Holocaust survivors on this difficult day, visit them, give them a supportive shoulder and watch the 'For Life' rally to send our love And our support for all 180,000 Holocaust survivors in Israel.

We hope that next year we will be able to hold the parade again in its 'living' and old format and continue to march together with the Holocaust survivors. "

Meanwhile, the Aviv Association for Holocaust Survivors invites the general public to join the "Victory Album of Holocaust Survivors" Challenge, which aims to strengthen the intergenerational connection - photographed with grandparents, uncles, neighbors or Holocaust survivor friends, and upload the photo to the victory album on the Skillit website.
