The World Health Organization refused to support the issuance of vaccination passports due to the "uncertainty" that vaccination prevents the transmission of the Coronavirus.
Reuters quoted WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris as saying in a news briefing to the United Nations that the organization does not currently want to consider the permissibility of vaccination a condition for entry or exit to and from countries because of the uncertainty that the vaccine prevents transmission of infection.
Harris cited concerns about discrimination as another reason why the WHO did not support the use of "passports" at this time.
