A study published in the journal Lancet Psychiatry found that 34% of coronavirus survivors received a diagnosis of a neurological or psychological condition within 6 months of being cured of Covid-19.
The most common diagnosis was anxiety, detected in 17%, followed by mood disorders, with 14%.
The study also revealed that about 1 in 50 patients had an ischemic stroke, which is a blood clot that affects the brain.
