After a series of positive results and remarkable performance, the Shabab Al-Arabi football team from Al-Suwayda governorate succeeded in climbing to the Premier League clubs after defeating Al-Sahel team in penalties 4-2 after the end of the original and additional time with a draw with a goal for the same in the decisive match that brought them together at the Al-Galaa stadium in Damascus.

In a statement to the representative of Sana Al-Riyadi, the coach of the team, Samer Al-Shaar, said, “This achievement is the culmination of ten years of work with players since they were in the young age groups, and it stems from a group of factors that contributed to it, the most important of which is the dedication of the players, their loyalty and their cooperation with the training staff as one family in addition to the support of the fans and supporters of the club. Al-Shaar pointed to the great efforts made by the club's cadres until the team reached this achievement over the past years, represented by coach Hussein Alamuddin, who was with the players in the Baraem stage and assistants to coach Nazih Ghanem, Qusay Murshid, administrator Ziyad al-Abdullah, and coach of the guards Nassim Maarouf in later years.

The slogan indicated that this achievement is about the aspirations and hopes of the sports fans in Sweden to ascend to a reality that reflects the level reached by the team and represents the key to the competition in the Premier League League.
