The player of the national team of bow and arrow Kholoud Faroussi continues her preparations to participate in the upcoming foreign benefits through a training camp at Al-Bassel Stadium in Lattakia.
Coach Fadi Akhras said in a statement to the SANA Sports reporter, “His player is preparing to participate in the Arab Bow and Arrow Cup, scheduled in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, next month, indicating that the player Pharos was chosen to participate in this tournament after the Arab Federation for the Game collected points of distinguished players at the Arab level. Our player was among the top eight women to participate in this tournament.
Akhras pointed out that Pharos started a training camp on the twenty-third of last month and will continue until the twenty-fourth of next month, the date of the start of the Arab Cup, where it focuses in its training on fitness and physical strength exercises in addition to shooting skills from a distance of 70 meters as specified in the tournament system.
Akhras pointed out that the second phase of the training plan includes an intensive training program on two morning and evening periods, in which the training load gradually increases with the aim of raising the technical and skill level in order for the player to reach the required state of technical and physical readiness before participating in the next tournament, expecting Pharosi to achieve an advanced position in the Arab championship.
