Berlin - On April 19, the Green Board will propose who of the party leaders Annalena Baerbock and Robert Habeck should take over the candidacy for chancellor in the federal election on September 26.
This was announced by the Greens managing director Michael Kellner to the state chairman and the party council on Wednesday in a letter that was available to the German press agency.
The final decision on the candidate for chancellor will be made at the Green Party Congress from June 11th to 13th.
