Dozens of Israelis arrived today (Wednesday) to honor the memory of Avraham Zakin, a battle-wounded man who was seriously wounded in the First Lebanon War, following the publication in "Israel Today".

The volunteers came and completed a quorum that was needed for prayer.

Avraham Zakin passed away shortly before Memorial Day.

His family called for public help, because during his memorial service at the Gordon Cemetery in Rishon Lezion, there was a fear that there would be no quorum.

His son is the only one among the ten worshipers required to pray in public.

"We do not have a quorum for Dad's memorial service," his family wrote earlier. "Please share with all your might, so that we can truly do the mitzvah of honoring the dead war hero!". Later in the message they wrote: "Tomorrow there will be a memorial service for a physically and mentally wounded man who died at a young age - and the family does not even have a quorum. Please share, and come in droves to show that we all embrace the fallen!".
