"The challenge of the last few days has not been the most difficult or dangerous for our homeland stability, but it has been the most painful for me," Jordan's King Abdullah said today (Wednesday) in light of the series of arrests in the kingdom, and the house arrest of his half-brother, Prince Hamza.
According to the king, the reason for this is due to the fact that the parties to this civil war were inside the house.
"Nothing comes close to what I felt in terms of shock, pain and anger, as a brother and guardian of the Hashemite family, and as the commander of this dear people," Abdullah said.
The king further added that he had decided to act on the issue of Prince Hamza within the Hashemite family.
