More than 225 thousand services provided by citizen service centers in Damascus since the beginning of this year

Damascus Governorate continues to develop and expand the services it provides through citizen service centers with the aim of simplifying procedures, easing burdens, and saving time and effort on citizens. These centers provided more than 225,000 services since the beginning of this year until the end of last March. A citizen of the day.

The number of civil registry transactions submitted by the centers reached 125,344 transactions, while the criminal record transactions amounted to 29,580, while 29,320 non-employee documents were granted, according to the director of the centers in the governorate, Eng.Luay Alloush, who indicated in a statement to the SANA representative today that 8,147 lease transactions, 12,272 temporary records and 2737 services were completed. Of the planning and urban planning data and 8,712 documents attestation procedures from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

Alloush pointed out that the centers also presented, during the same period, commercial and industrial registry transactions, administrative licensing, renewal, ratification, amendment, and cancellation of administrative licenses, breaking seals, submitting objections and complaints, occupying licenses, transactions of the Old Damascus Directorate, and services of the Directorate of Real Estate Interests in Damascus.

Alloush pointed out that work is underway to study the inclusion of the services of the Directorate of Service Departments in the Kafr Sousa Center, compulsory insurance in immigrants, health affairs transactions, “stamping and stamping a health card,” and the Directorate of Property Affairs. The immigration center will also be opened this April, while the new Al-Sham center will be opened next month.

Alloush explained that the Al-Midan and Channel Centers have been developed and rehabilitated so that Al-Maidan Center includes 12 front offices instead of 4, and the two services of residential lease contracts and real estate interests are included, and the Channels Center includes 11 offices instead of 3 previously, in addition to allocating them with waiting rooms and meeting the standards of citizen service centers.

Alloush explained that rehabilitating the centers contributed to creating new job opportunities that would accommodate the largest number of data entrants and transaction implementers, and reducing the waiting period for service seekers in addition to completing more than one transaction in the same place through the new services provided.

Citizen service centers are distributed in Yusef al-Azma Square, the governorate building that includes the main center and in the old city of Damascus, in the office of the ward and in the departments of the field services, beside the Bab Sreeja and the new al-Sham roundabout, and the channels in Bab Sreija and al-Sham al-Jadidah in the Dumar project, the Mezzeh Jabal and the migrants in the White Bridge and in the temporary register in the seven Bahrat and the lobby of the Damascus Finance Directorate Arnous Square, Bekfarsousa, and Junod al-Assad area in Dumar.
