The air defenses of the Syrian Arab Army responded after midnight to an Israeli missile attack on some points in the vicinity of Damascus, and dropped most of the enemy missiles.
A military source told SANA that “at about 12:56 am today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression with bursts of rockets from the direction of Lebanese territory targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus.
The source added that the aggression "resulted in the injury of four soldiers, and some material losses."
In addition, the Lebanese Al-Manar TV reported that one of the missiles of the Syrian air defenses chased an enemy Israeli warplane in the airspace of the border region and heard its sound throughout southern Lebanon.
On the 16th of last month, our air defense media confronted an Israeli aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan against some targets in the vicinity of Damascus, and most of the aggression's missiles were shot down.
During the years of the terrorist war on Syria, the Israeli enemy launched several missile attacks on Syrian lands, which our air defense means responded to and dropped most of them.
