the acts of rape committed in Niger by Chadian soldiers engaged in the fight against jihadists in the Sahel.

Chadian soldiers are accused of the rape of several women in Tera, a town in southwestern Niger, where a contingent from their country is based as part of the multinational force of the G5 Sahel.

“When you are in such a force, you are your country's ambassador.
