The State News Agency in Syria reported last night (light for Thursday) an Israeli attack in the southwest of the capital Damascus.
No damage or injuries were reported.
State television has announced that alarms have been sounded and the air defense system has been activated.
The Sana news agency reported that some of the missiles fired at Syria were shot down.
