Close to the Bennett-Lapid government?

Member of Knesset for a new hope Sharan Hashakel said this morning (Wednesday) that the gaps between the leaders of the change bloc are "very small".

"Both (Naftali) Bennett and (Yair) Lapid know that we are close to agreement. The gaps are very small," MK Hashakel said in an interview here Monday.

Hashakel said that the chairman of Tikva Hadash, Saar has the "greatest experience in forming governments And negotiations. "

MK, who passed from the Likud, added: "We are trying to build a bridge to a bridge between Bennett and Lapid - especially who will be the first in the rotation." However, MK Lapid said this week that he has already offered Bennett the first term.

These things are added to last night's publication in News 13, according to which Bennett said in closed conversations that if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not form a government - then he will form a government with Lapid.

Last night, President Reuven (Ruby) Rivlin gave the mandate to Netanyahu, who has 28 days to form a government.

Already today the prime minister is scheduled to convene the leaders of the right-wing bloc, and tomorrow to meet with Bennett.

MK Hashakel, No. 5 in New Hope, spoke about the proposal she received from the Likud to defect: "For the past two weeks, I have been receiving offers and telephone calls, including from people around Netanyahu.

"The negotiations are very sensitive. In the end, when the Likud sees that Netanyahu has no chance, there may be a higher chance of bringing them to us."
