The Easter Exposition, which was held at the theater of the Roman Orthodox Prophet Elias Cathedral in Aleppo today, for four days, included hand-made products such as Eid sweets, chocolate, clothes, cosmetics and decorations, in addition to detergents and sterilization materials.

Shefin Karla Saadeh, activity officer at the Scouts of the Prophet Elias, explained in a statement to SANA that the exhibition comes on the occasion of the upcoming Glorious Easter holiday and includes 45 participants with various handicrafts from Eid guests, ornamental plants, bags, shoes, soap and others, at a reduction in prices on all products, noting that the aim of the exhibition is to provide The opportunity for participants to display their products since they do not have their own stores.

The Sana camera monitored the various products of the exhibition and met with a number of participants, as Noel Moussli confirmed participating in home-made sweets such as chocolate, biscuits, jams and others, in addition to the types of special foods for the glorious Easter holiday.

Sawsan Kilo, who participated in varieties of chocolate stuffed with nuts, explained that she makes these types in her home in distinctive and suitable forms for Eid, and that this exhibition gave her the opportunity to introduce her products and expand her work in the field of sweets.

While Georgina Bahar, who participated in handmade products such as cardboard baskets, gifts, crafts for decoration and accessories, indicated that the exhibition proves that women are able to work and innovate in any field and to do multiple work because they are an employee and a housewife.

As for Saad Hazeem, who participates in works designed from wood, he pointed out that they are compatible with the requirements of the holidays, pointing to the good turnout of visitors to the exhibition and the opportunity that it afforded him to market his works and designs, while Hisham Hamati mentioned the aim of the positive exhibition, which includes various and comprehensive products for all family members, which was confirmed by both Subhi Salloum and Pierre Makhoul, who indicated the importance of participating in it to support the local economy and introduce people to national products.

Aleppian cuisine had a presence in the exhibition through the food presented by the participant Anita Asaad, who was distinguished by making it in her home, where she presented many varieties of Aleppian foods such as kibbeh and yabruq.

Participant Antoinette Fahma pointed out to the price offers on the food that she makes to suit low-income people, noting that they are products suitable for people who follow diets because they are made from low-calorie ingredients such as oatmeal cakes and spinach pies.
