In a thick report of more than 700 pages published in early March, the United States National Security Commission for Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI) made alarmist conclusions: the development of artificial intelligence will upset the order of conflicts to come .
"Today, the still limited uses of AI-based attacks are just the tip of the iceberg"
warns the report's authors, including former Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
Even more than the invention of electricity, according to them, intelligence will irrigate all sectors of society and exacerbate the strategic and technological competition between the United States and China from exoatmospheric space to cyberspace.
