A gathering of Jordanian media and intellectuals for Syria called on the resistance to “support” the European Union, to lift the unilateral coercive economic measures on Syria.
In a message sent today to the European Union mission to Jordan, the gathering indicated that these measures contribute to depriving the Syrian people of food and treatment, pointing out that they come due to the steadfast Syrian position in support of the resistance and against the US imperialist hegemony project and Syria's adherence to its patriotic and national constants.
The gathering indicated that these coercive measures are in the interest of the Zionist enemy and its colonial plans, calling for their lifting and stopping the identification with the US hegemonic policy, respecting the choices of the people and the Syrian state and the independence of its political will.
