British media reported that the UK pledged to provide 43 million pounds (about 460 million Hong Kong dollars) to help people from Hong Kong find jobs, housing and schools.
It is reported that this plan allows millions of Hong Kong people to resettle.
According to a Reuters report on April 8, the British government launched a program to welcome Hong Kongers to settle down on the same day. Most of the funds of the program will be used by the local government to help new immigrants pay for English language support and housing expenses.
The government will also launch 12 virtual regional offices to provide assistance for registered healthcare and schools.
In addition, these "Welcome Hubs" (Welcome Hubs) will also provide advice on how to do business in the UK.

According to the report, as the quarrel between the UK and Beijing over Hong Kong reforms continues to escalate, the UK has opened its door to more than 5 million potential Hong Kong people, providing them with opportunities to live and work in Hong Kong, and finally apply for British citizenship.
British Minister of Housing, Community and Local Government Robert Jenrick said: "This project will ensure that British (Overseas) Nationality (BNO) holders and their families have the best start after arriving in the UK and help them find a place to live. , Children’s schools, provide opportunities and prosperity.”
Britain stated that the National Security Law and democratic reforms China imposed on Hong Kong violated the terms of the 1997 agreement to return the semi-autonomous city to China.
Ministers said that the visa program is a way to fulfill the agreement.
