Fire in residential building: Neighbor sees smoke and calls fire department - cause of fire unexplained

A fire broke out in a residential building in Bad Windsheim on Thursday morning.

Nobody was injured in the process, but there was considerable damage to property. 

Bad Windsheim - A fire broke out in a residential building on Hauptmann-Köhl-Straße on Thursday morning (April 8th).

The cause of the fire has not yet been clarified, as the police told Middle Franconia.

No one was injured in the incident, but initial estimates indicate that property damage amounted to more than 50,000 euros.

Because he saw smoke coming from the roof of the house, a neighbor called the police and fire brigade around 10.30 a.m.

Before the fire brigade arrived, all residents of the house were able to escape unharmed outside.

The Bad Windsheim fire brigade quickly brought the fire under control.

Due to hot spots, according to a message from the Central Franconia Police Headquarters *, additional extinguishing work is currently in progress.

The investigation is in the hands of the Ansbach criminal police.

As soon as the scene of the fire can be entered, the responsible officers take over the investigations on site.
