Juan Ignacio Buzali, husband of Carolina Piparo, received house arrest in the case in which he is being investigated for running over two motorcyclists whom he mistook for thieves.
The measure was ordered by Judge Marcela Garmendia, who also ordered that Buzali be monitored with an electronic ankle brace.
Piparo's husband, Juntos por el Cambio provincial deputy, is charged with "attempted homicide" against Luis Levalle (23) and a minor under 17, who suffered minor injuries in the accident.
