The government will discuss on Monday the opening of the education system in light of the decline in morbidity in Corona, after a long time the ministers have not convened.
Blue and white ministers this afternoon removed their opposition to the outline presented by the Ministry of Health, and will vote in favor of further easing of the education system, which will apply from this coming Sunday.
Sources close to the Corona Cabinet said a vote on the issue would be held tonight.
However, the Ministry of Education opposes these facilitations, arguing that there is not enough scope, and due to the opposition of Education Minister Yoav Galant, the new education outline will be valid until Tuesday, and not for ten days.
A cabinet meeting on Monday, as mentioned, may include more far-reaching easing.

The facilitations that are expected to be approved this evening include the cancellation of the capsules in fourth grades, while in all grades 7-10 it will be possible for students to move between four capsules and not two as was the case before.
In addition, in grades 7-10, who will enter the "Education Shield" program, learning without capsules will be possible.
The "Education Shield" program means that 75% of the parents agree that the child will be tested once a week.
For the purpose of consent, the vaccinated teachers and the children who have recovered are also taken into account.
If the outline is approved, children 7 to 10 will learn fully (as before the corona).
The problem with the outline, however, is that it will take time to gather or centralize parental consent.

However, Galant continues to oppose the outline and demands the removal of all restrictions in the education system starting this coming Sunday.
