Roma-SANA: Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi described the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan

Roma-Sana

Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi described the head of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as a "dictator".

Agence France-Presse quoted Draghi as saying during a press conference in Rome, in response to a question about Erdogan's behavior regarding what happened to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who was left without a seat during a meeting with him: “I felt a great anger at the humiliation suffered by the Commission President. These, and let us call them as they are, the dictators ”.

Draghi added, "I never support the behavior of the Turkish president towards the Chairperson, this was not appropriate behavior."

The video of this protocol incident during the meeting of von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel with Erdogan in Ankara shocked many European representatives and officials in the bloc.

The major political blocs in the European Parliament expressed their anger after the protocol insult to which the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, was subjected to during her visit two days ago to Ankara, accompanied by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and their meeting with the President of the Turkish regime, Erdogan.
