- Emmanuel Macron announces the abolition of the name of the ENA and the transformation of this school.

I find that pathetic because this decision is demagogic.
We come out of a year of de Gaulle, the anniversary of the school and here is that in the middle of a health crisis, the President of the Republic brandishes a priority.
The ENA serves as a fuse against the anger of the French towards a state that has become very bureaucratic.
Emmanuel Macron, himself from the ENA, knows very well that many efforts have been made to try to diversify the profiles.
He also knows that our school system no longer allows for republican meritocracy and no longer manages to bring out students capable of applying for the ENA.
In fact, he wants to give the impression that we can remove a problem by removing the name of a structure.
However, after the "yellow vests" crisis, the health crisis has sharpened criticism.
