Via the site consultation-discriminations.gouv.fr, the ministers hope to collect contributions in eight areas: employment, housing, transport, security, access to leisure, public services, healthcare and insurance, banks and mutuals.

There will be no taboo subject.

All situations of discrimination must be put on the table,

”assured Elisabeth Moreno at a press conference in Paris.

She wishes to make this two-month consultation "

a strong moment of exchange and concrete and practical proposals

" open to citizens as well as to associations, businesses and local communities, invited to act as relays.

On the platform, three levels of contribution will be possible, specified Marc Fesneau: "

Evaluate the systems, decide on the new measures and submit a contribution to make concrete proposals and share good practices

".

Scheduled until the end of May, the consultation will be the subject of a report made public and aims to feed into the National Plan to Combat Racism, Antisemitism, Xenophobia and Homophobia scheduled by 'summer.

The Minister undertook to receive at the Ministry the authors of the twenty most popular ideas within the framework of the consultation.

The site also links to the antidiscriminations.fr platform, inaugurated in mid-February by Elisabeth Moreno and the Defender of Rights, Claire Hedon, to support victims of discrimination online and via a telephone number (3928).

Since then, 3,000 people have contacted 3928, 800 chats have been carried out and 20% of users have subsequently seized the Defender of Rights, announced the Minister.
