In order to celebrate the summer season as safely as possible, cruise lines are increasingly relying on a corona vaccination as a prerequisite for starting the trip.

For several months now, shipping companies have been trying to restart the cruise season with sophisticated hygiene concepts.

Nevertheless, there were always outbreaks of the corona virus on board the ships.

The British shipping company Saga Cruises, which specializes in guests over 50 years of age, therefore relied on a complete corona vaccination for passengers relatively early on.

Other cruise companies are now following suit and are planning, among other things, Mediterranean trips for the summer - access only for vaccinated people.
