A 70-year-old woman in Tuen Mun is officially diagnosed
In addition, two new local cases have been reported today. One of the cases is unknown, involving a 70-year-old woman who is asymptomatic and lives in Block 3, Ai Fai House, Yau Oi Estate, Tuen Mun.
At yesterday's press conference on the epidemic, Zhang Zhujun, director of the Infectious Diseases Division of the Center for Health Protection, once said that she had poor eyesight and often stayed at home. Her friends and family would visit her at the home every week.
Zhang Zhujun pointed out that although she lived in a single place with the confirmed case yesterday, there is a chance that her family and friends have already contracted the disease and then transmitted the virus to the patient.
The Hospital Authority also stated at a press conference yesterday that the patient was sent to the hospital for treatment due to a fall on April 6. The hospital tested positive when she was screened for admission.
