Hohenkammer

- The emergency services found plenty of work when they arrived at the scene of the accident: According to the police, a whole series of traffic accidents occurred in a bend on the B13 near Hohenkammer on Thursday morning.

The PI Freising officials suspect the cause in each case at an inappropriate speed on a slippery road.

Accident on the B13: Land Rover of novice driver (18) overturns

The disaster began shortly before 7 a.m. when an 18-year-old drove in a Land Rover on the B13 from Niernsdorf towards Hohenkammer.

Shortly before the Unterwohlbach / Oberwohlbach junction, the car slipped on a sloping, mirror-smooth road, got onto the opposite lane and hit the left guardrail.

Then the young man tried to get the SUV back under control - but slid to the right into the ditch, where the car overturned and came to rest on the roof.

Other vehicles were - initially - not affected.

The Land Rover later had to be towed away, and according to the police it suffered an economic total loss of 5,000 euros.

Accident at Hohenkammer: BMWs collide, one crashes into a VW bus

At this point, however, the accident had only just picked up speed: a few moments later, a 55-year-old woman arrived at the scene of the accident in her BMW Z4, who had been driving in the same direction and was now stopping next to the Land Rover, around the 18-year-old to help.

Behind the woman's roadster followed a 30-year-old with a 3-series BMW who wanted to pass the stationary Z4 - but apparently did not keep a safe distance.

The 3 Series then touched the rear of the Z4 with the front side of the vehicle.

As a result of the impact, the rear of the 3-series BMW broke out and touched the VW Multivan of a 67-year-old who had stopped there to also help, which was now in the opposite direction.

All those involved were unharmed.

According to the police, the damage amounts to around 2000 euros on the BMW 3 series, around 5000 euros on the Z4 and around 500 euros on the VW bus.

All the cars were still ready to drive - but the series of accidents was still not over.

Accident series on B13: Citroen Berlingo slides VW Golf into the rear - full lock

Because now a 56-year-old golf driver came into play, who wanted to pass the accident site in the direction of Hohenkammer.

Behind her, a 33-year-old was driving a Citroen Berlingo.

The woman braked her Golf, but the man in the Citroen had obviously not kept enough safety distance - and crashed into the rear of the Golf.

The driver of the car suffered a small laceration on the eyebrow as a result of the collision and later came to the Pfaffenhofen Clinic by ambulance.

The Citroen driver was uninjured.

Both cars suffered damage of an estimated 3000 euros each.

In contrast to the Citroen, the Golf was still ready to drive.

In addition to officers from the Freising police force, volunteers from the Hohenkammer volunteer fire department were also called to the scene of the accident.

While the accident was being recorded, they blocked the B13 from Niernsdorf to the intersection near Allershausen.

The twelve emergency services were on site with two vehicles.
