The parish association of Fahrenzhausen-Haimhausen took around 250,000 euros for the renovation of the organ.
It was inaugurated at Easter.

- The two neighboring parishes of Fahrenzhausen and Haimhausen are closely linked through the joint parish association.
With the parish church in Haimhausen, which has reopened after a general renovation, one has again a flagship in the network.
Pastor Konrad Seidl consecrated the restored organ there at Easter.
With the general renovation of the church, which was in danger of collapsing, the organ was also dismantled - and it is a treasure.
In the years 1898 and 1899 the Franz Borgias Maerz organ was installed in the Haimhausen parish church of St. Nicholas.
The instrument was purchased for 4,000 marks from the well-known Munich organ builder and was placed on the two-story gallery, which was created in 1874 as part of the church's expansion.
The wooden organ pipes of the deep tones are a specialty.

The organ has now been renewed - for an impressive 250,000 euros.
The Rudolf von Beckerath company proceeded with a sure instinct and only replaced the definitely irreparable material.
The instrument was disassembled, cleaned, reconstructed, restored and slightly expanded.
The number of registers has been increased from ten to fifteen.
With the current standard, the instrument can not only be used for background music for church services, but can also be played in concert.
Pastoral advisor Bernhard Skrabal is open to concerts with musicians from the region.
Largest church in the parish association
Skrabal sees no effects on the other churches and places from the Haimhausen redevelopment.
In the parish of Fahrenzhausen, places of worship like the Wenger Church are larger in area, but nowhere can more people attend church celebrations than in Haimhausen.
The parish association of Fahrenzhausen-Haimhausen is now taking 250,000 euros for the organ.
Half of the sum was available as a reserve.
The rest is to be financed through donations in the coming months and years.
