Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the Israeli settlement plans in the occupied Palestinian territories constitute a flagrant challenge to the international community and the decisions of international legitimacy.
The Foreign Ministry clarified in a statement today quoted by Wafa news agency that the Israeli occupation’s continued expansion of settlement operations in the West Bank, especially the occupied city of Jerusalem, from demolishing Palestinian homes, seizing their lands, establishing new settlement units, and trying to control historical, archaeological and religious sites, comes in implementation of the so-called “deal of the century” aimed at liquidating The Palestinian issue and undermine any opportunity to establish a geographically connected Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Foreign Ministry warned of the danger of the silence of the international community on the occupation crimes, asking the international community to assume its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to stop the occupation crimes against the Palestinians.
