The poet Fayed Abdel-Jawad Ibrahim was drawn from the mainspring of ancient Arabic poetry and was influenced by his picturesque mountainous environment.

Regarding his poetic beginnings, Ibrahim explained in an interview with Cultural Sana that the popular songs, religious hymns and the sounds of nature all contributed to the enrichment of his creative faculty that began in his childhood years when his teachers realized that he was able to cross-overheard to organize his first poem about “Al-Quds” and hung in the wall magazine in the school It forms a fuse to ignite a talent that was refined by his study of Arabic literature at the university.

Ibrahim's poetic experience that stemmed from his feelings towards everything beautiful, his emotions, pain, sadness, joy, defiance, and his influence with humanitarian issues and his preoccupation with the concerns of the homeland made him direct his poems in the face of injustice, exploitation, backwardness and intolerance.

The son of the village of al-Qabu in the mountains of the western countryside of Homs sees that nature affected his poetic queen because he considered it the notebook of his life, his lover, the mother of his talent, the bride of her dreams, and the height of her inspiration.

And whether the prose poem shortens keeping up with modernist development, the poet Ibrahim saw that the statement is poetry and prose, and both evolve, rise and stumble, and creativity must not be satisfied with keeping up, but rather the achievement must be surpassed in addition to renewal and renewal, considering that the prose poem, like its weighted counterpart, embraces the eternal beauty and dances to the rhythm of the supreme human pulse. There are great poets who wrote both types and innovated with them, and there are others who write prose at the height of brilliance.

Regarding his vision of the state of poetry at the present time, the poet who won the Jerusalem Prize finds that this ancient literary genre is in a state of decline due to the dominance of materialism and greed, the absence of creative criticism and the scarcity of real incentives that preserve the dignity of the creator, and the value of the word has diminished, affirming at the same time the existence of lofty creative pillars that we aspire to fill Heaven Our creativity is from its cultivation.

Regarding his view of the future of the poem, Ibrahim, who was influenced by the giants and other peers of his modern-day poets, concluded that the coming days must be bright because poetry is a permanent spiritual need and need or creativity.

Regarding the presence of women in his poetry, Ibrahim explains that the female carries the torch of inspiration and forms with the man the alphabet of love and the permanence of creativity, and that the poet and women, like soil and water, wear each other, so the place flourishes and happiness becomes a loaf of revelation.

The poet Ibrahim was born in the basement in 1952, he holds a BA in Arabic language from Damascus University and worked as a teacher in a number of high schools in Syria and the UAE. He is a member of the Arab Writers Union for 26 years. In addition to manuscripts on their way to printing, he has many studies in modern poetry and literary anecdote. He also won several prizes in literary competitions for the ministries of information and culture in Syria, the Emirates and Iran.
