Police today (Thursday) arrested two suspects involved in the shooting incident in Rahat in which three minors were injured.

The special investigation team set up at the Rahat station intends to bring them before a judge tomorrow.

The three casualties in the incident, 14-year-old Muhammad and 13-year-old Fadi (two brothers), and their 13-year-old cousin Summer were shot near their home in Rahat.

They were transferred to Soroka Hospital for medical treatment in a serious and moderate condition.

According to family members, they know who shot the children.

The uncle of the three, Jaber Abu Sahiban, says that "I hope today the truth will come out, and we will all know what happened there. I think because of the continuous shooting in Rahat almost every day, hour, two hours continuous shooting, the police do not enter these areas at all. The other boy, suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, was in critical condition, Soroka said. MDA paramedic Guy Sadeh, who was called to the scene, said: "When we arrived at the scene with large forces, we saw two boys, aged 13 and 14, lying on the street with gunshot wounds.

We immediately provided them with life-saving medical care, which included bandages and hemostasis.

We put them in an intensive care unit and evacuated them to the hospital when they were in a serious and moderate condition.

During searches conducted by police at homes on the spot, another seriously injured boy was found and seriously injured.
