The closing rally of Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day will be held tonight (Thursday) at the Ghetto Fighters' House.

President Reuven Rivlin will speak at the rally.



The rally has been held every year since 1949, when the kibbutz and the Ghetto Fighters' House were founded, the only Holocaust museum in the world established by Holocaust survivors.

Six they will carry beacons in it.



"The rally reflects the values ​​we believe in: the human spirit, the struggle of the Jews during the Holocaust and the path of the survivors to the revival - the establishment of the State of Israel," said Yigal Cohen, director general of the Ghetto Fighters' House. The prayer of remembrance will be recited by Malka Sofer, daughter of Sarah and Yaakov Lite, one of the kibbutz's founders.
