The American Massachusetts Peace Movement called on her country's government to end the American occupation of lands in Syria and to stop the economic sanctions imposed on it.
"The presence of American forces in Syria without congressional approval threatens our constitutional system and deprives the Syrian people of entering their areas and accessing their livelihoods such as oil and wheat," the movement said in a statement today.
The movement emphasized that the terrorist war on Syria, which reached ten years, was extended and prolonged due to the intervention of the United States of America, which is working to deepen the pain and suffering of the Syrians and exacerbate them through economic sanctions and cut off trade.
The movement called on the American government to stop the military and diplomatic support for armed groups in Syria, noting that the weapons fall into the hands of terrorist organizations, including "Al Qaeda", which poses a danger not only to the Syrians, but to the Americans themselves.
