Two 14-year-old boys were seriously injured last night (Thursday) by gunfire in Neighborhood 21 in Rahat.

Another boy, 13, was moderately injured.

MDA teams provided them with medical treatment on the spot and evacuated them to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva. Police have opened an investigation into the incident and are conducting searches in the area with the help of the air



force. They began scanning the area, and located the third in a nearby house.

MDA paramedic Guy Sadeh said that "when we arrived at the scene with large forces, we saw two 13- and 14-year-old boys lying on the street with gunshot wounds.

"We immediately provided them with life-saving medical care that included bandages and stopped bleeding, put them in an intensive care unit and evacuated them to the hospital when their condition was serious and fair.
