There are many books about Donald Trump.
Now Mike Pence has announced that he will write his memoir.
In the autobiography, the former vice president also wants to devote himself to his time under the former president.
In the work, which is expected to appear in 2023, the 61-year-old will address key events in the Trump administration, the publisher Simon & Schuster announced on Wednesday.
The book will trace the career of the devout Christian from his roots in the state of Indiana to his time as the second highest representative of the Trump administration.
Simon & Schuster says they have signed a contract with Pence for two books.
This has a value between three to four million dollars (around 2.5 to 3.3 million euros), reported the broadcaster CNN, citing two unnamed sources from the publishing industry.
On the same day, Pence announced the start of a conservative organization he led called Advancing American Freedom.
AAF is building on the "successful policies of the Trump Pence administration" and will help to "defeat the agenda of the radical left," wrote Pence on Twitter.
The organization's advisory board includes other prominent former Trump administration officials, including Kellyanne Conway and economic adviser Larry Kudlow.
The announcement sparked speculation about Pence's possible candidacy in the 2024 presidential election.
