In the video: Lapid: I proposed to Bennett to form a government and be the first in rotation (Walla NEWS system!)

Nearly two days have passed since President Rivlin imposed the mandate on Netanyahu, and the prime minister has taken the task so seriously that his chances of forming a government are completely guaranteed.

At his residence in Balfour, Netanyahu worked last night (Wednesday) until the wee hours of the night in an attempt to break through the 59-seat barrier.

Together with his people, he concluded the meetings with the heads of the ultra-Orthodox factions, Deri, Gafni and Litzman.

Netanyahu is working on several fronts: Intense pressure on Smutrich and Ben Gvir to agree to train RAAM, at the same time conducting a desertion hunt in the bloc of his opponents and trying to persuade Gideon Saar to back down from his promise not to sit in the government headed by him. In his

meetings yesterday, Netanyahu assigned a task to each of his partners: Litzman will put pressure on Smutrich, Gafni will turn to Saar and Elkin, and Deri will try to withdraw the MKs of Tikva Hadash or others from the bloc of change.

Netanyahu is now firing in all directions.

It is doubtful whether one of the balls will hit the goal he set for himself, but for him as long as it is possible to stay in power and avoid a situation in which his opponents will set an agenda here - he will not rest or be quiet.

Faced with Netanyahu's fierce attempts, a bloc of his opponents leaves him an almost empty arena, and lets him run the game almost alone.

Chairman Yesh Atid Yair Lapid, Netanyahu's sworn political rival, flew tonight for a vacation in the United States until the end of the week. Hours earlier, Lapid sketched on Facebook what a prime ministerial government would look like with Bennett. Almost impossible: three distinct right-wing parties, two center-left parties and two left-wing parties. A government full of contradictions and contradictions, and one that anyone would have believed could arise. It

is difficult to compete with Netanyahu's strong will, yet it is a personal political survival. Even an outward effort as if he wanted to compete with him. In the election he announced that he would agree to give up his personal ambitions to end Netanyahu's rule but then in the two weeks after the election results, as if he completely forgot about it and collected signatures for president. Bennett, Lapid sat down for meetings with the leaders of the Gush Shinui factions.

First you will recommend me, he said, and then we will move forward. This failure was most evident in his dealings with the Arab parties. Lapid trained with them in the last election It's another decision that depends on him

But in the reality test he failed when he failed to get even one of them to recommend him to the president.

When Lapid realized that he did not have the storm and the mandate slipped out of his hands, he revealed what he had proposed to Bennett - to be the first prime minister in rotation.

He stated to the media that he had given up on his dream.

A party leader with 17 seats declared to the media that he had given up on his big dream even though he was and still has almost no chance of forming a government on his own.

Talks between the two have been suspended for the time being, Bennett wants to at least paint outside that he made every effort to be a partner in the efforts of a prime minister to form a right-wing government, and a torch abroad.
