The United Nations Human Rights Organization announced today (Friday) that its appeal to the UAE authorities regarding the fate of Princess Latifa, who disappeared from the public eye in 2018 after she tried to flee the country, received no response.

A short statement issued by the organization reads "" We have not received any sign of life from it, and we are interested in it.

We are interested in receiving a clear and convincing sign of life, a sign that she is alive, "said the organization's spokeswoman, Martha Hortado.

While authorities in the country last month officially claimed that Latifa was in the arms of her family and receiving medical and psychiatric treatment, in a video she managed to smuggle from the service booth to the British news network BBC, the princess said she was being held in Walla against her will and banned from leaving.

Members of the UN-sponsored organization have announced that they have scheduled a meeting with the UAE ambassador in Geneva and that they intend to raise questions during the meeting also about the condition of Princess Shema, Princess' sister to Dropa who has not been seen in public for a long time. Then she was not seen in public again.
