Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
Today, the memory evokes the Deir Yassin massacre committed by the Zionist terrorist gangs against the Palestinians 73 years ago, in which hundreds of martyrs were killed.
The Deir Yassin massacre is one of the most heinous massacres committed by the Israeli occupation and it cannot be erased from the Palestinian memory, not only for the size of the martyrs who were killed because of it, but because many plots and plans to displace Palestinians from their lands and aimed at liquidating their cause and erasing their legitimate rights ceased.
The terrorist attack on the village of Deir Yassin, west of occupied Jerusalem, began at dawn on April 9, 1948, when the Irgun and Stern gangs, the Zionist terrorist, used various weapons without distinguishing between a man, a woman and a child. Zionism, which is the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.
The Zionist criminal gangs were not satisfied with their massacre through mass executions, rape, torture and mutilation of corpses, but abducted some Palestinians and took them to Israeli settlements and then executed them with cold blood bullets. These gangs also prevented international institutions, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, from reaching the crime scene to find out what happened In reality.
The Deir Yassin massacre came as the beginning of another series of massacres and crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinians, especially the Tantura massacres, Kafr Qasim, Gaza, Jenin, Khan Yunis and Qana, in addition to the destruction of 425 Palestinian villages and the displacement of the Palestinian people.
After 73 years of the Deir Yassin massacre, the Israeli occupation continues its crimes and attacks on the Palestinians, their property and their holy sites, with the aim of displacing them, seizing their lands and judaizing them, amidst suspicious international silence and the absolute support of the United States of America for the colonial plans of the occupation.
