The Disaster Management Authority in Lebanon announced the imposition of a partial ban in the country, starting next Monday and for a month, to limit the spread of the new Corona epidemic, in light of the high rate of injuries in various regions of the country.
The National Operations Room in the administration said in a statement today that "the muzzle must be placed at the risk of imposing measures against the violators and preventing entry and exit to the street from the day of next Monday and for a month from nine thirty in the evening until five in the morning of the next day."
The statement also asked the religious authorities to warn against the consequences of not adhering to the preventive measures and measures to limit the spread of the virus, while taking strict measures in places of worship, represented by the attendance rate not exceeding 30 percent of the capacity, and preventing the establishment of collective breakfasts, banquets and Ramadan tents.
Yesterday, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that it had recorded 3,510 infections and 37 deaths from the virus.
