Sauerlach - As reported by the police, the Mercedes driver drove on state road 2573 (former B 13) on Thursday morning at around 6 a.m. coming from the autobahn in the direction of Sauerlach.
In a wooded area, the 45-year-old lost control of his vehicle on a slippery road and came off the road to the left over the opposite lane.
There he drove through a brush and then hit the right side of the vehicle against a tree.

Since initially a seriously injured, trapped person had to be assumed, the Taufkirchen Volunteer Fire Brigade was alerted in addition to the ambulance service and the police.
When the emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident, the situation turned out to be less severe. The driver had only suffered minor injuries in the accident and was taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance for further treatment.
Property damage to the car amounted to around 70,000 euros.
Half an hour of the road had to be closed on half an hour to record the accident and to transport the no longer roadworthy Mercedes.

In this context, the police point out that the vehicle tires must always be adapted to the weather conditions in order to be able to guarantee safe participation in road traffic and to protect yourself and others.
