This is how Aurélie Vaquier, this young woman of 39 years missing since January 28 and whose lifeless body was most likely found at her home on Wednesday, is described by those around her.

Aurélie Vaquier is a local child, a true Héraultaise.
The young woman with the sparkling gaze grew up in Poussan, a small village on the Mediterranean coast located halfway between Béziers and Montpellier and about fifty kilometers from Bédarieux, where she had been living for a few months with her companion.

The eldest of three boys, Aurélie very quickly had to impose herself among men.
“She was of the Aries sign, like me, which is to say that she had a strong character!”
Recalls Jérémy, her brother.
But it is rather the image of a smiling woman, full of life and overflowing with energy that Jérémy wishes to keep from his big sister.
“These images of her are engraved in my heart, I keep them preciously to myself,” he
explains.
“Whatever she does, Aurélie always gives good to others.
She was always positive and warm, ”
remembers Emmanuelle, a longtime friend.
A graduate of a BTS in accounting, Aurélie has never really found her place in the middle of the numbers.
“My sister always had this need to be on the move, she had a thousand projects in her head.
She had to multiply her experiences, her adventures. "
Sometimes a waitress, sometimes a summer camp instructor in the Alps, Aurélie ends up finding her way and, ultimately, finding herself, ten years ago, in the midst of nature and organic farming.

She then began to make organic mineral stones such as orgonites, supposed to attract good waves.
And then she makes her own soaps and shampoos, toothpaste and other natural care products that she sells in the markets.
“We had encouraged her to go to the Christmas market in Poussan last December.
At first she didn't really believe it, but she quickly realized that people were really interested in her products.
It had really comforted him in the idea of continuing,
”says Jérémy, who runs a restaurant with his partner.

After organic, the thirty-something gradually adopts an irreproachable hygiene of life.
She stops smoking, drinking coffee or eating meat.

“We come from a family that has suffered a lot in terms of health, so for her it was essential to take care of her own and that of her loved ones.

Aurélie was also passionate about esotericism.
She had in the past carried out several spiritual retreats in chapels.

Love at first sight of a loner
Very independent by nature, even solitary in certain aspects, Aurélie has always lived alone.
“She had her little cocoon, her own world, her Auré Bubble!

Between the two, love at first sight is immediate.
Barely a few months after their meeting, the two lovers left Villeveyrac to settle in Bédarieux, last November, in a former art gallery.

I must say that we were all quite surprised to see that she got down to business so quickly,
” recalls Jérémy.
Together, the young couple also planned to open a vegan restaurant.
It was here, at number 3 rue Courbezou, in Bédarieux, that the couple had settled last November in an old art gallery that they were busy renovating.

This Wednesday, a little over two months after her disappearance, a body was found at the young woman's home.

Aurélie left with a head full of projects and a heart full of love.
