India recorded 131,968 new infections with the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours, in a record increase for the third consecutive day, bringing the total to 13.6 million.

According to the Indian Ministry of Health, the number of deaths increased by 780, bringing the total to 167642 cases.

India ranks third in the world in terms of the countries most affected by the pandemic, after the United States and Brazil.

In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed today that the number of confirmed cases of the virus rose to two million and 956,316 after 25,464 new infections were recorded, while the total number of deaths reached 78,003 after 296 cases were recorded.

In China, the National Health Commission announced the registration of 21 new cases of the virus yesterday, down from 24 the previous day, noting that among the new cases, eight local infections were recorded in Yunnan, southwest China.

The total number of confirmed cases of Covid 19 on the Chinese mainland reached 90,386, while the number of deaths remains the same at 4,636 cases, according to the commission.
