Occupied Jerusalem - SANA

The permanent representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, renewed today his condemnation of the escalating violations of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians and their property, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities and stop the occupation attacks.

Wafa news agency quoted Mansour as saying, “The Palestinian families in Silwan and Sheikh Jarrah in occupied East Jerusalem are still at imminent risk of forced displacement and mass dispossession due to the occupation measures, forcibly removing the people from their homes and neighborhoods and replacing them with settlers in a serious violation of international law and defying the will of the international community, including: This is the Security Council resolutions. ”

Mansour pointed to the increase in settlers 'and the occupation forces' crimes against the Palestinians, including field executions, arbitrary arrests and daily assaults, pointing to the death of a 73-year-old Palestinian woman two days ago due to being deliberately run over by an Israeli settler, in addition to the martyrdom of a Palestinian and his wife after the occupation forces opened fire on their car.

Mansour explained that the continued siege of the Gaza Strip 14 years ago and depriving it of the least basic necessities of life caused the death of a number of Palestinians and destroyed the infrastructure, calling on the international community to take immediate and effective action to confront the crimes of the occupation and its settlers.
