An analysis published by the Kaiser Family Foundation revealed that 54% of adults living in rural areas of the US said they had already been vaccinated or were planning to do so.
The refusal in those who prefer not to be vaccinated seems to have a political component and to a lesser extent, religious, considering that 73% of those who reject the drug are Republicans and 41% define themselves as white evangelical Christians.
