The Ministry of Health announced the recovery of the 25-day-old youngest person infected with Coronavirus in the General Authority of the Martyr Mamdouh Abaza Hospital.
The ministry stated in a statement that Sanaa received a copy of it that the child went to the emergency department in the hospital with a complaint of dry cough and raised a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, indicating that through the clinical examination it was found that the child is in general and moderate vitality and there is a respiratory slip, intercostal withdrawal, sub-rib withdrawal and the percentage of oxygen saturation 85 percent and 70 breaths per minute.
In its statement, the Ministry pointed out that the chest image showed a comprehensive inflammatory infiltration of the right lung and cloudy at the edge of the heart, and the child was transferred to the isolation section in the children's section and the necessary investigations were carried out from pictures and laboratory analyzes and the scan of the Corona virus "PCR" and the emergence of a positive result.
The ministry stated that the child remained in isolation in the children's department for ten days, during which oxygen and all medical and therapeutic services were provided to him according to the protocol for treating Corona patients, pointing out that through continuous follow-up the child's condition improved clinically and the values of investigations returned from pictures and laboratory analyzes to normal numbers and the child was discharged. After the appearance of the "PCR" test negative and he was in a stable condition and had good vitality.
