The authorities focused their search on the municipality of Acatic, in the state of Jalisco, on whose highway they had been located for the last time.
A key clue
Days before the disappearance of the Villaseñor Romo family,
a man who has a working relationship with the disappeared was shot.
The subject, who has not been identified, is hospitalized and will be questioned by the authorities in the coming days.
"We believe that
this individual has important information for clarifying the facts
and locating the missing persons," said Solís this Tuesday.

The man was shot in the back on March 19 when several subjects shot him while driving a car in a neighborhood in Zapopan, very close to Guadalajara.
Days later,
the state prosecutor's office arrested seven municipal agents
who are suspected of participating in the disappearance of the family and has an arrest warrant against the Acatic deputy director of the police.
"Data were obtained that make the participation of some policemen here from the Acatic police station very likely in the disappearance of these people," the prosecutor said at a press conference on Sunday.
More than 85,000 missing
A search operation with hundreds of military and police personnel like the one that was carried out with this family is
something quite unusual in Mexico.
There are more than 80,000 people in the country whose whereabouts remain unknown.
There is no trace of the vast majority since 2006, when the so-called war against drug trafficking began.
